This website
primarily contains examples of my work in oils and printmaking. Both my undergraduate
and graduate degrees had a drawing emphasis so I have many drawings as well. As
resource material, especially for my paintings, I use photos of places I am particularly
fond of. Because I've had Artist Residencies at Isle Royale National Park and Crater
Lake National Park, a number of paintings depict those lovely spots. More recently
I have been painting Pt. Reyes National Seashore where I volunteer for the Beach Watch Program.
And I have a long time love affair with the rivers and mountains of, especially, northern California
where I have hiked and camped. Recently I have begun a series of paintings of the trails and hiking places I love best.
